Our Aims and Objectives

As an organisation involved in performing arts for Human Rights, Empoweruth aims to do the following:

  • Improve Behaviour among the younger generation

  • Decrease Bullying

  • Contribute to tackle racism

In addition, Empoweruth has a keen interest in Citizenship. Citizenship helps young people to develop the knowledge, skills and conviction to play an effective role in their local, national and global communities. By critically examining issues related to democracy, social justice, human rights and identity & diversity from a range of perspectives, young people learn to form their own opinion, speak out and take action on issues important to them.

How would this benefit the younger generation?

The performing arts element enables them by Kinestic learning to efficiently remember and understand the workshop. The arts are a method in which can raise the emotional state of the individual then they are more willing to learn and participate.

Some of the benefits for young people are:

  • More determined, happier youths

  • Successful learners who enjoy learning, make progress and achieve

  • Confident individuals who are able to live safe and fulfilling lives

  • Responsible citizens who make a positive contribution to society
